Osteopathy is a gentle manual therapy, with a whole body approach.
Have more good days.
1. First step
The first step is getting in touch to book your first appointment. Adam works in both Paris and Cambridge, and is excited to see how he can help you.
2. Initial Assessment
Adam will discuss your health history, concerns, and what you want to get out of treatment. From here, there is a physical assessment for joint range of motion and function.
3. First treatment
After discussing your health history, you will receive your first treatment. Adam’s approach to osteopathy is gentle, with the goal of appealing to your nervous system. This allows for stable, long-lasting changes to happen.
4. Follow-ups
Following up is an important part of the process. We want to build momentum and get you moving and feeling better. Follow-up treatments typically take 20-30 minutes.
5. Not so often
The goal with treatment is to start spreading out the frequency of appointments. As you improve, less intervention is needed because the body is amazing and starts to heal itself.
6. The goal
The goal of treatment is to eventually be at a point where we don’t need it. Osteopathic treatments will change as you progress. The intention is to get you well enough that we don’t always need to book a follow-up.
